Depth-Oriented Counselling & Psychotherapy
For Anxiety, Grief, Identity, Relationships & Life Transitions
I offer counselling and psychotherapy for people experiencing emotional difficulties, periods of change, or a sense of feeling stuck, disconnected or overwhelmed. Therapy can provide a reflective and confidential space to explore what is happening beneath the surface and develop a deeper understanding of yourself and your life.
What Are Counselling & Psychotherapy?
Counselling and psychotherapy are forms of talking therapy that support greater emotional awareness, psychological understanding and meaningful change. Therapy offers space to explore thoughts, feelings, relationships and experiences with the support of a trained professional.
People often come to therapy during times of anxiety, grief, uncertainty, emotional distress or transition. Sometimes there is a clear difficulty to address; at other times there may simply be a growing sense that familiar ways of living no longer feel sustainable or meaningful.
Therapy is not about being “fixed” or given advice. Rather, it is a collaborative process of reflection and exploration that can support greater clarity, emotional resilience and a more connected relationship with yourself and others.

- Grief, loss and bereavement
- Depression and low mood
- Relationship difficulties
- Feeling lost, disconnected or directionless
- Identity and self-esteem issues
- Life transitions and periods of uncertainty

My Therapeutic Approach
My approach is depth-oriented, relational and grounded in embodied emotional awareness.
I aim to offer a calm and collaborative therapeutic space where difficult feelings, recurring patterns and deeper questions can be explored safely and thoughtfully.
The work may involve exploring:
- recurring emotional and relational patterns
- the connection between mind, body and emotion
- dreams, imagination and symbolic meaning
- different aspects or “parts” of the self
- the influence of past experiences on present life
- questions of identity, belonging and purpose
While symptom relief is often an important part of therapy, I am also interested in helping clients develop deeper self-understanding and more sustainable psychological change.
My work is informed by contemporary psychotherapy practice alongside depth psychology and Jungian perspectives, though sessions are grounded in clear, accessible and collaborative therapeutic dialogue.
What Therapy Can Offer
Therapy can support you to:
- understand yourself more clearly
- recognise and work with emotional patterns
- develop healthier ways of relating to yourself and others
- process grief, anxiety or difficult experiences
- feel more emotionally grounded and connected
- navigate periods of uncertainty and change
- create greater meaning and direction in life
The process is different for each person. Some people seek short-term support around a specific difficulty, while others choose longer-term therapy focused on deeper exploration and personal development.
What Sessions Are Like
Sessions last 50 minutes and take place weekly.
I offer both online and in-person sessions. The work is confidential and conducted within BACP ethical guidelines and regular clinical supervision.
In therapy, there is no expectation to arrive with everything clearly articulated. Often the work begins simply by creating enough space to speak honestly about what has been difficult, confusing or emotionally significant.
My aim is to offer a therapeutic relationship that feels reflective, grounded and psychologically containing rather than prescriptive or advice-driven.
Professional Practice
I am currently in professional psychotherapy training and work with clients under regular clinical supervision in accordance with BACP ethical guidelines.
I hold professional insurance and am committed to ongoing personal and professional development.

Taking the First Step
Beginning therapy can feel significant, particularly if you have not spoken with a therapist before. An initial consultation offers space to discuss what brings you to therapy, ask questions about the process and consider whether the approach feels right for you.
