A Reflective and Depth-Oriented Approach

I offer counselling and psychotherapy for people experiencing emotional difficulties, periods of transition, or a sense of feeling stuck, disconnected or overwhelmed.

My work is grounded in reflection, curiosity and embodied emotional awareness, providing a collaborative therapeutic space where difficult feelings, recurring patterns and deeper questions can be explored safely and thoughtfully.

I believe therapy can support not only relief from distress, but also greater self-understanding, emotional resilience and a more connected relationship with oneself and others.

At times the process may feel challenging, particularly when exploring long-standing patterns or difficult experiences, but therapy can also create space for clarity, meaning and lasting psychological change.

My approach is relational and depth-oriented, informed by contemporary psychotherapy practice alongside interests in Jungian psychology, dreams, symbolism and the relationship between emotional life, imagination and meaning.

While these perspectives influence the work, sessions remain grounded, collaborative and responsive to your individual needs and pace.

How I Work

I aim to offer a therapeutic relationship that feels calm, reflective and psychologically containing rather than prescriptive or advice-driven.

 Together we may explore:

  • recurring emotional and relational patterns
  • anxiety, grief or emotional overwhelm
  • identity, meaning and life transitions
  • self-esteem and inner conflict
  • the connection between mind, body and emotion
  • dreams, imagination and symbolic experience
  • how past experiences continue to shape present life

My work is collaborative, and there is no expectation to arrive with everything already understood or clearly articulated. Often therapy begins simply by creating enough space to speak honestly about what has been difficult, confusing or emotionally significant.

Professional Practice

I am currently in professional psychotherapy training, undertaking an MSc at Bangor Univerversity and work with clients under regular clinical supervision in accordance with BACP ethical guidelines.

I hold professional insurance and am committed to ongoing personal and professional development. My practice is informed by ongoing study in areas including:

  • Jungian psychology and dream work
  • Internal Family Systems-informed approaches
  • Embodied and somatic awareness
  • Relational psychotherapy
  • Mythology and symbolic understanding
  • Group and experiential process work

I offer both online and in-person sessions for adults across the UK.

Taking the First Step

Beginning therapy can feel significant, particularly if you have not worked with a therapist before. An initial consultation offers space to discuss what brings you to therapy, ask questions about the process and consider whether working together feels appropriate for your needs.
